Be a part of the another exciting Houston Chowhound Chef Throwdown!
Local star chefs will be competing against each other to win the title of 'Shroom Throwdown (STD) Champion. Whose 'Shroom dish will reign supreme? Houston Chowhounds will competing in an amateur chef Battle Rice Casserole Potluck Throwdown. This competition will be judged by competing chefs in the STD.

Eat. Food for the patron buffet will provided by competing chefs and our host, Vic & Anthony's. Competing chefs will be bringing buffet-friendly versions of their mushroom dishes for the audience.
Drink. Enjoy sponsored cocktails by Hudson Ferus Vodka and Bacardi Rum. Cash bars will be available for beer, wine, and other cocktails. The main bar will be equipped to take credit cards and a mobile wine bar will except cash only, however we recommend bringing cash.
A limited number of souvenir 'Shroom Throwdown t-shirts will be sold at the event for $12 ($15 for XXL). Cash only. Guarantee your shirt by pre-purchasing it here.
Cookbooks containing all 'Shroom and Rice Casserole recipes will be sold at the event with 100% of proceeds benefitting Recipe for Success. Pre-purchase your cookbook at a discount here. Or bring cash to purchase it at the event.
